Participation in soccer and other physical sporting activities involves inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, fractures, concussions, and other physical harm. By registering for and participating in the Skyview FC Soccer Tournament, each participant acknowledges these risks and voluntarily chooses to participate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant and their team agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Skyview FC, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliated parties from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from:
In the event of an injury or medical emergency during the tournament, each participant authorizes Skyview FC organizers to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment on their behalf if they are unable to do so themselves. Participants are responsible for their own health insurance and medical expenses.
Participants grant Skyview FC permission to photograph or record video of them during the tournament for use on the Skyview FC website, social media channels, and promotional materials. No compensation will be provided for such use.
The team manager who completes the registration form on behalf of their team confirms that they have obtained the agreement of all team members to these waiver terms, and that all players have been informed of and accept the risks of participation.
This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising in connection with this waiver shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
